RV Roof Repair

roofrepairtopimage_orig.jpg

Your RV and Camper Roof is one of the most important parts of your camper and by not taking care of it you could literally destroy your camper. That is why roof maintenance is so very important. It needs to be caulked at least once every year to make sure your camper or RV stays water tight.

Most RV's have some sort of rubber roof. Either an EPDM or a TPO each type takes a slightly different maintenance to take care of them. Other RV's have either fiberglass or aluminum. The fiberglass and aluminum do not take as much care as the rubber roofs but can be damaged if it is not maintained.

It is important to do a visual inspection of your roof every year to check for cracks and leaks and re-caulk any areas that look like they are worn away or peeling. Many of our customers call on DR Dave's RV and Trailer Repair to check their roofs once a year to do yearly maintenance for them.

If you find sagging or soft spots under your rubber roof it is a serious sign that you may have a water leak somewhere. This may be fixed if found soon enough, but if it is over looked it could end up coasting you much more money in the long run if it is not addressed when found.

We do minor to major roof repairs. We do complete roof replacements. Call us to find out more.
